1. Agreement to these terms

These terms are a binding agreement between you and Ekav Solutions (OPC) Private Limited ("Ekav", "we", "us") governing use of the Ekav app. By creating an account, you agree to these terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 and meet any higher local age or parental-authorization requirement. By creating an account and accepting these terms, you confirm that you are eligible.

3. What Ekav is — and isn’t

Ekav is a fashion discovery and social shopping-organization app for iOS and Android. It is not a retailer, marketplace, or seller. Retailers control their listings, price, stock, order processing, shipping, and refunds; purchases occur on the retailer’s own site or app under the retailer’s terms. Ekav does not process payments.

4. Retailer links; no current affiliate compensation

Retailer links are ordinary third-party links. Ekav does not currently participate in affiliate programs, earn commission or other compensation from these links, or use affiliate-network tracking. We will disclose any future monetized-link arrangement before it takes effect.

5. Your account and security

You are responsible for protecting your sign-in method (your email one-time code, or your Google or Apple account) and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe it was accessed without permission.

6. Acceptable use

Do not impersonate others; share illegal, infringing, harassing, or unauthorized content; access another user’s account or private data; probe or scrape private storage or APIs; or interfere with normal operation.

7. Your content and our licence

You keep ownership of content you contribute, including profile photos and shared Bag activity. You grant Ekav a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, store, transmit, and display it solely to operate the app for you and relevant Bag members. The licence ends when content is removed except where shared records must remain or retention is legally required. You are responsible for what you share and confirm you have the right to share it.

8. Moderation, removal, reporting and blocking

You can report or block users, remove friends, manage blocked users, and leave shared Bags in-app. Blocking removes the friendship and prevents a new friend connection in either direction unless you unblock the person. Reports are reviewed and do not automatically ban a person. We may remove content or suspend accounts when review shows a breach or safety risk. For urgent concerns, contact founder@ekav.app.

9. Recommendations, AI-assisted search, pricing, and stock accuracy

Feeds, search results, and suggestions are generated automatically from signals such as your swipes and saved items, and search uses AI models to interpret what you type or photograph, as described in the Privacy Policy. They are suggestions only and can be wrong.

Product prices, MRPs, discounts, coupons, stock, and details are periodically refreshed and cached; they can be delayed, stale, incomplete, or wrong. The retailer checkout page is authoritative for final price, stock, shipping, tax, and returns.

10. Suspension, termination, and deletion

You can stop using Ekav and request deletion from Profile → Settings → Delete account, as described on the Account Deletion page. Processing starts 48 hours after the request, during which you can ask us by email to cancel, and targets completion within 30 days of the request. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, misuse the app, or pose a safety risk, and will make a reasonable effort to tell you why.

11. Third-party links and services

Retailer sites, Google and Apple Sign-In, and other linked services operate under their own terms and privacy policies, which we do not control.

12. Intellectual property

The Ekav name, app, and software, excluding retailer product data and user content, belong to us or our licensors. We grant a limited personal, non-transferable licence to use the app as intended.

13. Disclaimers, liability, and indemnity

The app is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties and limit liability. You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from misuse or breach.

14. Feedback

Feedback may be used, modified, and incorporated into Ekav without compensation.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by Indian law, with disputes resolved before a court of competent jurisdiction.

16. App Store terms

If you downloaded Ekav from the Apple App Store, this agreement is between you and us, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.

If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price for the app, if any; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the app.

We, not Apple, address claims related to the app or your use of it, including product liability, regulatory compliance, consumer-protection and privacy claims, and claims that the app infringes a third party’s intellectual-property rights.

You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated a “terrorist supporting” country, and are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries entitled to enforce these terms. You must comply with applicable third-party terms when using the app.

17. Severability

If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

18. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; material changes update the version and effective date and may require re-consent in-app. Contact founder@ekav.app.
